Still a cult favorite but with lots of educational, training and therapeutic potential, skating fascinates us from our youth, conjuring images of swift, graceful and whimsical moves. at the "Indro Montanelli" public gardens in via Palestro, a temporary skating rink is being set up where you can rent skates and knee pads. During its run, surprise guests from the world of sport and entertainment as well as other famous figures will drop by. Sporting and health-related events will be organized, for example sports fashion shows, sporting equipment demonstrations, book launches, nutrition and sports education courses and musical entertainment. Santa Clause and the Befana will skate and there will be many other attractions to celebrate the Christmas spirit. Instructors will also be available for students and the public. There will also be freewireless internet and a concession stand. Part of all proceeds will benefit charities like City Angles, Opera S. Francesco per i poveri OSF, Public Assistance and many others.
